Privacy Policy — Minimal Calendar

Minimal Calendar ("the App") helps Shopify merchants display business days, closed days, and business hours on their storefront. This policy describes what information the App handles and how it is used.

Information we collect

Store information: your shop domain and an API access token provided by Shopify when you install the App. These are required to operate the App and are stored securely on our server.
Calendar configuration: the closed days, business hours, recurring rules, and notes you create in the App. This data is stored in your own store's metafields (inside your Shopify store) and, as a working copy, on our server.

The App does not collect, store, or process any personal data of your customers. Storefront visitors are served the calendar directly from Shopify's infrastructure; their requests do not reach our servers.

How we use information

The information above is used solely to provide the App's functionality: rendering and saving your business calendar. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, Shopify revokes our access to your store. In accordance with Shopify's GDPR requirements, all data associated with your store (calendar settings, recurring rules, and access tokens) is permanently deleted from our server within 48 hours of receiving Shopify's deletion request.

GDPR compliance

The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because the App stores no customer personal data, customer data requests return no data, and customer redaction requests require no action.

Security

All communication between your store, Shopify, and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to browsers or third parties.
